Had a great anniversary dinner here last week. Bar was a bit crowded to get a drink before dinner, but the bartenders were attentive and willing to bring drinks around the bar. We had excellent service from Jeffery from start to finish. Followed his recommendations and had a fantastic dinner with apps, main course and desserts. A special treat in Rochester that is worth a visit!

Redd was very good. The portion sizes were really nice so we got 3 courses. We had the pork belly appetizers, our main, and shared the butterscotch dessert. All were fantastic!
Went here with a bunch of colleagues from work. Place was pretty packed for a Wednesday. We made reservations ahead of time and were seated in the back. After a few cocktails we ordered main course and i also ordered the tuna fish tartare starter. The dish was very original with the addition of the rice crispies (see pic). The tuna was fresh and delicious. Main course i had the scallops which were seared to perfection. Environment is a bit loud (hard to have a conversation). Waitress was very professional. All in all nice dining experience.
We loved this restaurant. The food and service were excellent—from appetizers through dessert and coffee. We started with several appetizers to share at a table of 6 guests. The tuna tartare was a favorite. The gnocchi was outstanding. Though several in our party don’t generally like gnocchi, everyone praised this version. The gnocchi itself was light and airy. The sausage sauce on it, while spicy, was not overpowering. The lobster risotto was delicious, as were the wings. The entrees were equally good. The scallops were perfectly seared and seasoned. The skate was a treat, as was the quail. The dessert special was huge and fabulous—3 large scoops of strawberry ice cream that actually tasted like strawberries and was not too sweet, topped with strawberry-rhubarb sauce. One of the best desserts we have had in a long time. The dark chocolate mousse was delicious, as was the coconut tapioca. Don’t miss this restaurant if you’re in Rochester.
the best restaurant in rochester! i have never experienced such good service before- the wait staff were professional, kind, and very efficient. we got complimentary cookies from the kitchen and they were so good! would highly recommend the pork belly, lobster risotto, scallops, and butterscotch pudding. i will definitely be coming back!

Incredible dining experience, quite a surprise for a tucked away restaurant in Rochester! We had the tuna tartare and pork belly as starters and they were absolutely amazing, especially the pork belly that was to die for. Scallops and halibut were also incredible, great flavors that revealed themselves in layers. Nice selection of drinks and great desserts and coffee to wrap up your meal. A great spot for a sophisticated dining experience!
Fresh. Flavourful. Layered. And decadent at times. Near perfection. Not only was the flavor amazing, but the execution was flawless. Hiramasa perfectly cured. Scallops expertly seared. Sprice. Acid. Fat. The dishes took great care to be well balanced and delightful. I don't know where to start. From the moment I walked in it was amazing. The hostess Larissa was inviting and quick to answer my joke about an extra person with a quip and an assurance that we would be taken care of. Our server was amazing as well, dealing with my incessant questions and request to serve my multiple appetizers in courses because I wanted to try a few things. Runners kept plates cleared, water glasses full and drinks topped off. That was just the service. The food might have been better. This meal is up there on my all time list and very accessible for a nice night out/celebration. Highly recommend.
